LaStone Therapy

This hot stone massage is a unique treatment that combines the use of thermotherapy, energy work, stone placement and the spinal layout. Basalt stones formed from volcanic lava are used to penetrate heat deep into the body, which will help with circulation, increasing the amount of oxygen delivered to the cells. Basalt stones carry energy from mother earth to the body, which gives the feeling of being grounded. This service will benefit poor circulation and cold joints. Sore muscles are soothed quickly by the penetrating heat. The use of thermotherapy is also muslce toning.

Shiatsu

Treatments are done through loose clothing with lean on pressure. The therapist works from their centre. Elbows, thumbs, knees, knuckles and palms can be used. Shiatsu is a Japanese acupressure massage that can benefit headaches, digestive complaints, insomnia, sciatic, for relaxation and much more. This treatment helps the flow of qi through the body which gives the feeling of balance and harmony.
